Job summary

1 Alpha Consulting LLC is seeking a PMO Project Manager to lead enterprise SAP S/4HANA initiatives. Remote work with mandatory onsite attendance in Middletown, PA, one week per month and additional onsite meetings as needed.

You will coordinate multiple IT projects, manage risks, vendors, and budgets while upholding PMO standards and governance. Strong leadership and PMP certification are required for success.

Qualifications

• Ten years of project or program management experience across diverse projects.
• Experience managing project integration, scope, schedules, communications, vendors, and risk planning.
• Experience managing high-profile subject-matter vendors across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Project Manager experience supporting Enterprise Business Solutions, specifically SAP or ERP projects.
• Experience managing multi-year projects.
• Expert-level knowledge and extensive experience creating and maintaining integrated project plans using Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Online.
• Strong leadership, conflict-management, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written, oral, presentation, organization, and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and complex dependencies.
• PMI PMP certification.
• Ability to work remotely while meeting onsite attendance expectations.
• Ability to report to a Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission work location within three hours in case of emergency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate internal and external resources involved in multiple IT projects of varying size and complexity.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts using established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies.
• Build and manage detailed, integrated project plans and schedules with task-level details, milestones, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Estimate and maintain project cost plans throughout all phases of the project.
• Plan and schedule resources to ensure availability for activities.
• Forecast project resource requirements and support capacity planning.
• Provide visibility into resource needs and proactive corrective actions.
• Establish a structured project governance framework with defined roles and decision paths.
• Coordinate with business owners and analysts to define project scope.
• Manage the complete project lifecycle: initiation to closing.
• Identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.
• Monitor deliverables, milestones, schedules, costs, and approvals.
• Conduct lessons-learned sessions and document recommendations.
• Build relationships with technology staff, business owners, sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with System Integrator PMs and interrelated projects within the organization.
• Manage project documentation, artifacts, approvals, and signoffs.
• Follow PMO Playbook and project management standards.
