Job summary

Headlight in California is seeking a part-time PMHNP for a fully remote schedule. You will diagnose and treat mental health conditions, provide individual and group therapy, and collaborate with a clinical team to support seamless patient care.

This role offers flexible hours (12–22 per week), access to cutting-edge technology like Blueprint AI and NextGen, and strong clinical autonomy with supervision from experienced psychiatrists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• 12 months post-licensure psychiatric clinical setting experience
• Master's degree in Nursing with psychiatric specialization
• Board Certification via ANCC or AANP
• Valid PMHNP state licensure
• Active DEA in prescribing state
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Knowledge of mental health and emotional disorders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work in office 1 day per week as part of hybrid model

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders
• Participate in community outreach and education
• Proficiency with EHR systems (NextGen desired)
