Job summary

Headlight.Health is seeking a part-time PMHNP for California with a hybrid schedule (remote with one in-office day per week). Join a clinician-led team focused on accessible mental health care and innovative tech to support sessions and notes.

You will diagnose and treat, provide individual and group therapy, prescribe meds when needed, and maintain detailed patient records across a collaborative network of clinicians.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience post licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, with a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing.
• Board Certification via ANCC or AANP.
• Valid state licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Active DEA in the prescribing state.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders.
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients.
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders.
• Participate in community outreach and education.
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) Proficiency: use EHR systems effectively, familiar with NextGen.
