Job summary

Headlight Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, provide individual and group therapy, and manage medication plans in a supportive, data-driven environment.

This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, meticulous EHR documentation (NextGen preferred), patient education, and community outreach. In-office one day per week with hybrid options and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have 12 months experience post-licensure in a psychiatric clinical setting.
• Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the applicable state.
• Board certification via ANCC or AANP.
• Active DEA registration in the prescribing state.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat mental health and emotional disorders
• Offer individual and group therapy to patients
• Prescribe and monitor medications when necessary
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and progress
• Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient continuity of care
• Educate patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders
• Participate in community outreach and education
• Participate in our Spravato Program
• Able to work 1 day per week in office
