Job summary

Brave Health is hiring a Nurse Practitioner in a W2, full-time role. The NP will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions, including prescribing medications and conducting psychotherapy as part of a collaborative care team.

The position supports telehealth delivery with a schedule that includes standard daytime hours and EST coverage. Experience with addiction and diverse populations is valued.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license.
• Experience with addiction and mental health.
• Willingness to work with clients across lifespan (13yrs+).
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and dual-diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adolescent and adult patients across the lifespan as assigned.
• Assess mental and physical status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose psychiatric disorders and related conditions.
• Conduct psychotherapy as appropriate and prescribe medications.
• Order diagnostic testing and monitor medications and side effects.
