Job summary

Brave Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive mental health care, including assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and prescribing medications, within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. You will maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities include treatment planning, patient education, and coordination of follow-up care. The role supports adolescents and adults, with a focus on accessible, high-quality care across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license.
• Experience in Addiction and Mental Health.
• Willingness to work with adults (13+ years) and across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to adolescent and adult patients or across the lifespan as assigned.
• Assess mental and physical status based on symptoms and complaints.
• Diagnose psychiatric disorders and mental health conditions.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications and educate patients on risks/benefits.
• Order diagnostic tests and monitor medication usage.
