Job summary

Salma Health, Inc. is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver evidence-based care to adults and older adults, combining psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and neuromodulation techniques like TMS and Spravato.

You will conduct 90-minute diagnostic evaluations with measurement-based care in a rapid-access setting, coordinating with care teams to diagnose, initiate stabilization, and refer as needed.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctorate in Nursing.
• ANCC PMHNP board certification.
• Familiarity with Measurement-Based Care tools and interventional psychiatry modalities (TMS, esketamine/Spravato, accelerated neurostimulation).
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active NP license and NP furnishing number in California (NP103 status preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume intake environment with tight care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide evidence-based treatment to adult and older adult population with mental health disorders.
• Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
• Manage psychiatric disorders using psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and other non-pharmacologic approaches.
• Maintain an active intake schedule with follow up visits.
• Utilize measurement based care tools.
• Collaborate with the other team members to provide optimal care.
• Identify patients who are appropriate for interventional psychiatry (TMS/SAINT, Spravato) and initiate patient referrals.
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulations
• Work closely with a clinical team to receive feedback, improve care, and engage in clinical consultation
