Job summary

Brightside Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality telepsychiatry care. The role emphasizes autonomy with psychiatrist support and a flexible schedule.

You will work remotely, see patients across the nation, and use a custom EMR and AI tools to optimize care. The position is a 1099 contract with no on-call, generous collaboration with nationwide psychiatrists, and malpractice insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Active APRN license (PMHNP required).
• PMHNP certification.
• At least 2 years autonomous PMHNP experience.
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• Telehealth experience required.
• Licensed in 4+ states preferred.
• Available 8+ hours per week.
• Experience with adolescents a plus.
• Opted in to Medicare/Medicaid.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video and messaging).
• Prescribe and dispense medications within scope and laws.
• Maintain licensure and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and clinical leadership.
• Document charting within 48 hours of sessions.
• Respond to patient inquiries within 72 hours.
