Job summary

Brightside Health is seeking experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) for flexible telehealth in a 1099 contract role. Practice with clinical autonomy alongside psychiatrist support while delivering evidence-based, AI-assisted care to diverse patients nationwide.

You’ll work remotely with a consumer-centric approach, using a custom EMR and advanced decision support to tailor treatment. Autonomy includes scheduling, with no on-call shifts and malpractice insurance covered.

Qualifications

• Active APRN license required.
• PMHNP certification required.
• At least 2 years autonomous PMHNP experience.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.
• Telehealth experience and high comfort with technology.
• Licensed in 4+ states preferred.
• Available for 8+ hours per week.
• Adolescent experience preferred.
• Medicare/Medicaid participation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain licensure to prescribe and dispense within laws.
• Write clear medical information at patient level with excellent grammar.
• Be tech-savvy and embrace how technology improves care.
• Collaborate with the team and be responsive.
• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video and messaging).
• Respond promptly to leadership and members.
• Evaluate patient records, make prescribing decisions, and counsel as needed.
• Complete charting within 48 hours of sessions.
• Support a 72-hour messaging response window for patients.
