Job summary

Thriveworks, a nationwide mental health provider, is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver telehealth services in Maryland evenings and weekends. Clinicians must be licensed in the practicing state and have prescriptive authority.

This part-time role requires 20 hours weekly and includes ADHD training and no client quotas. Responsibilities include performing psychiatric assessments by telemedicine, treating clients aged 14+, prescribing medication as needed, and

Qualifications

Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification.
Master's in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in the practicing state.
Understanding of AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
Three years of experience is a plus; 1 year of psychiatry practice is required.
Licensed PMHNPs must be licensed and live in the state where they practice.
Part-time requires 20 hours of availability per week in the evenings or on weekends.
In-house ADHD treatment training with exam; no quotas for number of clients or prescriptions.

Responsibilities

Make psychiatric assessments and evaluations of clients via telemedicine.
Willingness to treat clients aged 14 and up.
Prescribe medications to reduce mental health symptoms as needed.
Create and collaborate on care plans with clients.
Complete and/or administer appropriate paperwork and assessment tools.
Adhere to Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff on clients, programs, and services.
