Job summary

Rula Health is seeking a PMHNP with an active California license to join a flexible, telehealth–based independent contractor network. This role emphasizes autonomous patient care and high professional standards.

You will conduct assessments, manage medications, and provide psychotherapy where appropriate, while Rula handles credentialing, marketing, insurance verification, billing, and compliance.

Competitive compensation per session with bi-weekly pay and no minimum client requirements.

Qualifications

• Active CA PMHNP license required.
• Board-certified PMHNP (ANCC PMHNP-BC or AANPCB PMHNP-C).
• 1+ year post-licensure PMHNP with high-acuity care.
• Ability to provide telepsychiatry and outpatient care.
• RN experience and student rotations do not count toward requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
• Medication management for psychiatric conditions.
• Telehealth sessions using EHR/telehealth platform.
• Collaborate with Care Coordination teams.
• 60-min initial evaluations; 30-min follow-ups.
