Job summary

Rula Health is seeking licensed PMHNPs in California for a 1099 contractor role. You will perform psychiatric assessments, manage treatment plans, and provide telehealth services, while Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing so you can focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid DEA number registered in California.
• 1+ years as a PMHNP with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, and crisis management.
• Independent licensure and/or working with collaborating MD as required by state law.
• AMERICAN NURSES CREDENTIALING CENTER ANCC PMHNP or AANPCB PMHNP certification.
• Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP).
• No suspensions/debarment from federal health programs (Medicare/Medicaid).
• No adverse actions by nursing board, hospital, or credentialing body in past 3 years.
• The ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments including diagnostic workups and treatment planning.
• Manage medication plans and crisis situations for patients with mental health issues.
• Engage with telehealth platforms and EHR systems.
• Collaborate with Care Coordination teams and support staff.
• Allocate time for initial evaluations and follow-up visits as per guidelines.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing.
