Job summary

Rula Health is seeking a PMHNP with a California license to join a nationwide independent contractor network. You will provide psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning, including medication management, via telehealth.

This role offers flexible scheduling, biweekly direct deposit, and full administrative support from Rula for marketing, credentialing, billing, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license and valid DEA number in California.
• 1+ years as a PMHNP with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, medication management and crisis management.
• Independent licensure or working with collaborating MD as required by state law.
• PMHNP certification by ANCC.
• PMP registration with state authorities.
• No suspension/exclusion/debarment from federal healthcare programs.
• No adverse actions by any nursing board or credentialing body in the past 3 years.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in PMH nursing from an accredited program.
• Ability to provide telehealth.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessments including psychiatric workups and treatment planning with medication management.
• Care for individuals with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction.
• Access and use the EHR & telehealth platform.
• Receive support from Care Coordination teams.
• Have adequate time for patient engagement—60 min for initial visits and 30 min for follow-ups.
• Rula handles credentialing, billing, and marketing.
