Job summary

Thatch, through its Finfra platform, seeks a Product Manager to shape the financial systems powering growth. You will own the ledger, money movement, and banking strategy, improving economics of funds flow and laying the foundation for new financial products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience building payments, banking, or financial infrastructure products.
• Deep understanding of financial systems, including money movement, ledgers, reconciliation, or banking infrastructure.
• Strong technical fluency, with experience working closely with engineers on APIs, data models, and system design.
• Experience building in regulated environments where reliability, accuracy, and compliance are critical.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Thatch’s financial infrastructure, balancing reliability, unit economics, and new product opportunities.
• Build and evolve our unified ledger, creating a trusted system of record for reconciliation, reporting, and treasury operations.
• Make money movement more reliable and scalable, from premium payments and reimbursements to card transactions and banking integrations.
• Improve the economics of how we hold and move funds, including treasury management, yield, and transaction costs.
• Evaluate opportunities in card issuing, credit, and other financial products, making thoughtful decisions about what to build versus partner on.
• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Compliance to design systems that are scalable, auditable, and built to meet regulatory requirements.
