Job summary

Employee Relations Associates, Inc. seeks a Platform Engineer focused on DevSecOps, cloud-native platforms, containers, and graph databases to support CI/CD pipelines and automation. This role partners with development, security, and operations to ensure reliable, secure platforms.

You will help deploy and manage Neo4j applications, contribute to platform best practices, and grow toward technical leadership in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

3-4 years of experience in Platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or system administration.
Experience building, deploying, maintaining, and scaling Neo4j and related applications.
Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) systems such as AppDynamics.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Splunk.
Proficiency with containers, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Exposure to Kubernetes distributions; OpenShift acceptable.
Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or similar (Jenkins, GitLab).
General cloud knowledge; GCP preferred.
Understanding of Portworx CSI (PX-CSI).
Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls) and Load balancing.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Exposure to API gateways and API management platforms.
Understanding of security fundamentals (certificates, TLS, secrets management).
Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and self-motivated, willing to take ownership of problems.
Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
Interest in building reliable, secure, and scalable platforms.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices, including Git workflows, artifact management, security controls, and container workloads (Docker/Kubernetes).
Develop automation solutions to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
Provide platform and DevOps support for a graph database application (Neo4j), including deployments, upgrades, configuration management, and environment maintenance.
Troubleshoot infrastructure across storage, networking, load balancers, firewalls, and security groups; analyze logs/metrics to identify root causes and solutions.
Document platform best practices, promote operational standards, and support incident response and problem resolution.
