Job summary

Precisely is hiring a Platform Engineer to lead security tooling and enablement within Platform Engineering for our global SaaS environment. You will build platforms, automation, and guardrails to help engineering teams adopt security requirements across the SDLC.

You will work at the intersection of Security, Platform Engineering, and development teams, turning complex problems into clear, executable solutions as an individual contributor.

Qualifications

• Experience building security tooling across software delivery and CI/CD.
• Hands-on with code scanning, SBOM, secret scanning, container/image scanning.
• Exposure to cloud security posture management and policy enforcement.
• Ability to translate security needs into practical engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead security tooling across application, container, and cloud security.
• Design automation for vulnerability detection and governance workflows.
• Partner with Security and Engineering to implement guardrails in pipelines.
• Improve developer experience while maintaining strong security controls.
• Drive security initiatives and OKR efforts with clear execution plans.
• Support AI-assisted security automation and secure AI tool adoption.
• Collaborate with ops to enable secure AI-enabled engineering tools.
