Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Platform Development to partner with product management and stakeholders to lead technology direction and deliver strategic software for the Curriculum Experience, serving full-time students in K–12.

The role oversees platform engineering teams, manages both FTEs and contractors, champions CI/CD, cloud architecture on AWS, and drives innovations while aligning technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Three (3) years’ proven experience in software engineering leadership roles.
• Strong delivery and execution track record across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology direction and drive product delivery with stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor Software Engineers, QA and DevOps teams.
• Align technology to business strategy and maintain CI/CD release cadence.
• Oversee both full-time and contract resources and foster innovation.
