The Backend Engineer - Platform role sits in AppCore, focused on Stack creation, configuration, reconciliation, and scalable cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will collaborate across product, platform, and business operations to keep customer stacks aligned and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reconciliation systems to track desired stack state and repair drift across templates and actual configurations.
• Collaborate across SSS, grafana.com, and deployment configurations to ensure reliable stack lifecycles.
• Improve deployment efficiency by reducing complexity and supporting single-PR regional SSS deployment.
• Manage rollout mechanisms for plugins, dashboards, data sources, Grafana versions, and stack configurations.
• Support new region and cluster rollouts, ensuring safe online deployment in new Grafana Cloud regions.
