Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope is seeking Plant Engineering and Operations Talent for Manufacturing. Roles vary by location and level, supporting safe, efficient plant operations across a network with a focus on continuous improvement.

We’re looking for engineers with a Bachelor’s degree and 2–15+ years in manufacturing or process engineering, plus hands-on experience with Lean tools and problem-solving. Opportunities span multiple sites in North America.

Qualifications

• 2–15+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, continuous improvement, or process engineering (we hire across levels)
• Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies

Responsibilities

• Support or lead plant operations to achieve goals in safety, quality, production efficiency, OEE, and cost optimization.
• Designing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes, reliability programs, and equipment strategies that enhance uptime and performance.
• Partnering across production, quality, maintenance, and engineering to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and capital projects.
• Executing or supporting capital planning, equipment installation, commissioning, and project management activities.
• Applying structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
• Embedding a culture of 5S, standard work, visual management, continuous improvement, and disciplined operating systems.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, safety policies, and environmental standards.
