Zusammenfassung

Aboon is seeking an Associate Plan Administrator, 3(16) Services, to support fiduciary duties in partnership with a Relationship Manager and Lead. You will ensure timely enrollment, accurate contributions, and compliant notices and distributions.

Responsibilities include enrollment coordination, contribution monitoring, distributions review, notices delivery, and audits. You will collaborate with employers/recordkeepers to resolve issues and identify automation opportunities with AI.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of current experience in the retirement plan industry
• Working knowledge of qualified defined contribution plan administration, including IRS and DOL requirements
• Ability to read and interpret plan documents for eligibility, contribution, and distributions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple plans in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and task/project management software

Aufgaben

• Review employee data and plan provisions to determine eligibility for plan participation
• Coordinate timely eligibility notification and enrollment of newly eligible participants
• Monitor automatic enrollment and annual automatic deferral rate escalation
• Review payroll contribution and loan repayment remittance for accuracy and timeliness
• Ensure employer contributions are calculated and funded per plan provisions
• Communicate with Relationship Managers to resolve contribution issues and processing of employer contributions
• Review and approve distributions and loans for eligibility and compliance
• Monitor terminated accounts and coordinate notices and distributions
• Coordinate delivery of required participant notices within IRS/DOL timeframes
• Assist auditors by gathering reports and transaction details
• Develop processes with the Plan Administration team to meet SLAs
• Identify automation opportunities and work with Engineering to streamline repetitive tasks
• Stay updated on industry changes and impact on plans, clients, and recordkeepers
