Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a mechanically focused Mechanical Process Engineer for a role that is largely remote with periodic in-office work in Brooklyn Park, MN. You will edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD, design machines, and perform flow calculations to size pumps and valves.

Travel to client sites up to 25% is required, with occasional visits to ensure validation of designs. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years of experience are essential, along with strong AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical/process engineering is required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for process flow diagrams is essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and to visit client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail machines based on system requirements.
• Perform calculations related to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc.
• Visit client locations to verify that designs match equipment.
