Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer with a strong background in fluid handling. This role is largely remote, with occasional office visits in Brooklyn Park, MN, and up to 25% travel to client sites.

You will edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD and design machines based on system requirements. You will also perform process-flow calculations, pump and valve sizing, and verify designs by visiting client locations to ensure equipment matches drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience is required.
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
• Past work experience in fluid handling, piping, pumping, routing etc…
• Must be able to travel up to 25%, domestically.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2D process flow diagrams in AutoCAD.
• Design and detail out machines based on the requirements of the systems.
• Perform calculations as it relates to flow process design, pump sizing, valve sizing, etc…
• Visit client locations and walk through equipment verifying that process flow designs match the equipment.
