Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Full-time Remote Pilot Operator (RPO) to join the Controller Training Solutions (CTS) team at the Nashville ATCT / TRACON (BNA) in Nashville, TN. The RPO will operate a simulated radar display and voice comm system to emulate pilots and remote ATC facilities during mid- to high-fidelity training exercises for the FAA.

The candidate will complete required classroom and lab certifications and must possess US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and basic computer proficiency.
• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate the simulation setup: radar display and voice communication to mimic pilots and remote ATC operations.
• Translate display information into ATC terminology and respond to students via voice communication system.
• Complete required classroom and lab certifications to function as a Remote Pilot Operator.
• Support FAA training programs at the Nashville ATCT/TRACON (BNA) facility.
