Job summary

Synthires is seeking STEM experts for a remote, contractor (part-time) role to contribute to AI training through technical problem-solving, data analysis, and Python-based workflows. You will validate AI outputs and ensure scientific accuracy in your area of expertise.

The engagement is ~15 hours/week with a flexible schedule. Compensation ranges from $60–$120 per hour, with immediate onboarding and start of first task within 24–48 hours.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in at least one STEM field such as chemistry, biology, mathematics, physics, geoscience, environmental science, or robotics.
• Practical proficiency in Python or another programming language.
• Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Experience using coding agents in technical workflows.
• Familiarity with scientific tools such as NumPy, SciPy, pandas, SymPy, Jupyter, or relevant domain-specific libraries.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex scientific, mathematical, and technical problems within your area of expertise.
• Review AI-generated solutions for scientific, mathematical, and factual accuracy.
• Identify incorrect assumptions, reasoning errors, and overlooked constraints.
• Use Python or other programming languages for calculations, simulations, and validation.
• Provide rigorous, technically accurate solutions and feedback.
