Job summary

HistoSonics is seeking a Physician Training Specialist to deliver high-level clinical education to physicians learning the Edison system. You will conduct didactic and hands-on training, focusing on ultrasound and image-guided workflows, while adapting to diverse learner needs and maintaining program standards.

You will travel up to 70% of the time, partnering with medical affairs, training, and R&D teams to ensure consistent, clinically credible education across locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in clinical education and medical device training.
• Experience educating physicians or healthcare professionals in procedural or technology-based environments.
• Ultrasound experience and ability to teach ultrasound principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physician education through the established education pathway including didactic and hands-on training.
• Educate physicians on Edison System technology, setup, operation, and treatment planning concepts.
• Provide hands-on ultrasound education focused on image acquisition and guidance workflows.
• Adapt instruction based on learner needs while maintaining learning objectives and standards.
• Troubleshoot system, ultrasound, and training-environment challenges and escalate when needed.
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a consistent physician learning experience.
