CHS Career Site in the United States is seeking a Remote Physician Pro Fee Coder specializing in Cardiology to review, assign CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes from medical records and ensure proper sequencing and place-of-service coding.

You will conduct coding audits, collaborate with physicians and revenue cycle teams, and maintain HIPAA compliance while supporting accurate reimbursement across payer policies.

Formación

• Proficient in CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding with knowledge of modifiers and sequencing.
• Understanding of payer guidelines, NCCI edits, LCD/NCDs, and medical necessity.
• Experience with EHR systems and medical billing workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to educate providers on documentation gaps.
• Familiarity with coding audits and quality reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Assigns CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10 codes for professional services based on documentation.
• Ensures compliance with regulations and payer policies, applying NCCI LCDs/NCDs.
• Performs coding audits and quality reviews to verify documentation accuracy.
• Works with billing systems to scrub claims and resolve edits for timely reimbursement.
• Collaborates with physicians and revenue cycle teams to improve coding integrity.
