Job summary

Memorial Health in Illinois is seeking a Manager of Medical Group Contracts and Immigration to lead physician and APP employment agreements, immigration sponsorship, and compliance across the health system.

You will collaborate with legal, HR, recruitment, and operations to streamline contracting, manage visa programs, and ensure adherence to Stark Law and related regulations while guiding staffing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree or related advanced degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare administration, physician contracting, or immigration management.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physician employment agreements, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development, review, and administration of physician and APP employment agreements.
• Coordinate contract approvals with legal counsel and leadership; track terms and renewals.
• Manage immigration sponsorship programs including H-1B, J-1 waivers, and residency applications.
• Collaborate with recruitment to support international medical graduates and sponsored providers.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations; conduct audits and mitigate risks.
• Develop processes to improve contracting and immigration program efficiency; report metrics.
