Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners seeks a Physician Coding Auditor to lead coding leadership analyses and training for medical coders across client sites. You will guide curriculum development, ensure accuracy, and support compliant coding practices as part of a respected revenue cycle team.

Responsibilities include quality reviews, staff education, and coordinating seminars while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Remote work is possible, with travel to client sites as needed and strong focus on process

Qualifications

• 5+ years of coding experience.
• 3+ years of auditing experience.
• Proficiency in multiple EMR’s, encoders, and the Microsoft Office suite.
• HIPAA regulations knowledge; maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.
• Travel 20-40% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Quality Review - Monitors and audits inpatient/outpatient accounts; performs performance and QA reviews.
• Educating - Assesses educational needs of coding staff/providers; develops programs and resources.
• Edits/Denials/Coding - Assists with edits, denials and appeals; supports coding activities.
• Training - Develops training materials and coding aids; trains new and existing staff.
• Coordinating - Coordinates seminars and materials via webinars and audio conferences.
• Reporting - Provides audit findings and compliance reports to leadership and providers.
