Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Physician Billing Coding Auditor and Educator to audit and educate providers on clinical documentation and coding. This remote role supports CMS guidelines and reimbursement processes across the network.

The position requires advanced coding credentials (RHIT/RHIA/CCS or CPC; CPMA on hire) and at least 5 years of physician coding experience in a large multi-specialty group, with strong data reporting skills and proficiency in Google Suite.

Qualifications

• Experience in ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Strong data reporting and analytics skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Audit records for coding accuracy per CMS guidelines.
• Educate providers and staff on documentation and coding.
• Create summaries and reports of audit findings.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to resolve coding inquiries.
