Job summary

You will review medical records, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with education teams to enhance physician documentation and coding accuracy. The role requires 5+ years of clinical coding auditing experience, CPT/ICD-10-CM/PCS mastery, and proficiency in EPIC.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPMA, AHIMA or AAPC credentials required.
• Experience auditing and coding across multiple specialties.
• Detailed knowledge of AMA, AHCA, CMS guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for internal auditing and analyzing professional coding for all service lines.
• Monitor audit results to identify potential coding inaccuracies.
• Provide educators with support to identify coding errors and communicate trends for physician education.
• Review medical records to ensure coding accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in physician documentation and coding.
