Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Physician Coder for our Physician Billing Office in Jacksonville, FL. This remote, full-time role focuses on accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT coding across multiple specialties and service locations.

The ideal candidate will have CPC or CCS-P certification, 1–2 years in Clinical Documentation, E/M coding, and outpatient procedures, with strong knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• 1–2 years of Clinical Documentation experience.
• 1–2 years of Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding experience.
• 1–2 years of physician coding experience, including CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS.

Responsabilidades

• Review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes.
• Perform E/M coding across applicable places of service.
• Code minor office procedures, outpatient testing, and minor surgeries.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Review medical records to support code assignment and billing.
• Identify and resolve coding discrepancies per procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
