Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Professional Billing Analyst to support physician billing operations by analyzing revenue cycle data, identifying issues and trends, and recommending workflow improvements. This role collaborates with department leaders, physicians, Finance, and other hospital teams.

Epic and/or coding experience are highly preferred. The position offers fully remote work with standard business hours, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, Finance.
• Minimum of 4 years of physician billing experience (Technology, Operations, or Finance).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve physician billing workflows and operations.
• Identify billing issues and opportunities to improve revenue.
• Analyze data related to charge capture, billing, and CDM setup.
• Prepare data for analysis and ensure report accuracy.
• Collaborate with leaders, physicians, Finance, and hospital teams to resolve issues.
• Share findings and recommendations with leadership and stakeholders.
• Support day-to-day workflow and system improvements.
