Job summary

One Medical invites applications for a full-time Virtual Medical Team physician assistant. You will treat patients through tele-health visits, triage calls, and video appointments, while engaging in weekly Clinical Rounds and ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates.

MSPAS-trained PAs with NCCPA certification, licensed in MD/DC/VA and able to obtain other licenses, are sought. Weekday/weekend shifts are required, with varied ET hours.

Qualifications

• Completion of master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) and is maintaining active NCCPA certification.
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in outpatient primary care or 2 years in urgent care/emergency medicine.
• Currently licensed in MD, DC, or VA with ability to obtain additional state licenses.
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday and/or Sunday required).
• Shifts range from 6am-5pm ET, 11am-10pm ET, 1pm-12am ET.

Responsibilities

• Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage, video visits, and email follow-ups.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles.
• Utilize clinical training to deliver exceptional care to patients virtually.
