Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or related field.
• At least 2+ years writing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field work.
• Internship or consulting experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) per ASTM standards and EPA regulations.
• Perform site reconnaissance and interviews to identify environmental concerns.
• Investigate historical land use using aerial photos, maps, and regulatory databases.
• Analyze environmental records to assess contamination risks and prepare reports.
• Draft clear ESA reports with findings and recommendations and support documentation.
