Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support our PBM clinical and technical call center from a remote Mississippi location. You will combine pharmacy knowledge with call center operations to assist members, providers, and pharmacy providers.

Required are 3 years of pharmacy technician experience and an active Mississippi registration. The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a production-focused remote environment.

Qualifications

• Currently reside in Mississippi with an active Mississippi Pharmacy Technician registration.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant Pharmacy Technician experience in retail, hospital, PBM, managed care, health insurance, or a similar pharmacy environment.
• Experience with pharmacy claims, prior authorizations, prescription benefits, medication terminology, and member/provider support.

Responsibilities

• Support members, medical providers, and pharmacy providers with pharmacy benefit, claims, and prior authorization inquiries.
• Research claim status, rejection reasons, medication coverage, benefit information, and appropriate next steps.
• Accurately document interactions and assist with inquiries received through phone, fax, email, web, or other supported communication channels.
• Evaluate and address pharmacy-related inquiries in a fast-paced remote environment.
