Centene Corporation is seeking a Remote Pharmacy Technician II, Specialty Outreach to support specialty pharmacy operations through customer service, call outreach, and data entry. The role involves heavy patient interaction, coordination with healthcare providers, and dependence on accurate documentation from a remote location.

The ideal candidate has a pharmacy technician license for TX, MO or CA, 2+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with specialty drugs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience.
• Familiarity with drugs used to treat chronic illnesses.

Responsabilités

• Interact with departments to dispense prescriptions promptly.
• Work under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain and update inventory recap report.
• Retrieve and manage discontinued or expired meds; document actions.
• Maintain prescription logs.
• Help with pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs; document maintenance.
• Comply with safety, QA, accreditation, regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned; follow policies and standards.
