Centene Corporation seeks a Remote Pharmacy Technician II, Specialty Outreach to support specialty pharmacy operations through patient outreach, phone work, and data entry. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality customer service.

The position involves extensive interaction with patients and healthcare providers, under pharmacist supervision, with hours Mon–Fri 9:30 AM–6:00 PM in the employee's time zone and some holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience.
• Active Pharmacy Technician license in TX/MO/CA required; national certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with various departments to provide accurately dispensed prescriptions on a timely basis.
• Work under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain and update inventory recap report.
• Retrieve discontinued or expired medications from stock; discard or return to stock as appropriate; complete corresponding documentation.
• Maintain prescription logs.
• Assist with the maintenance of pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs and documents maintenance.
• Comply with safety, quality assurance, accreditation, legal, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
