Job summary
Centene Corporation is seeking a Remote Pharmacy Technician II in Specialty Outreach to support specialty pharmacy operations through customer service, phone outreach, and data entry. This is a phone-based role with about 90% of the day spent communicating with patients and healthcare providers, in your own time zone.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience, and a California, Texas, or Missouri license.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of pharmacy technician or medical office experience.
- Familiarity with drugs used for chronic illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Interact with departments to dispense prescriptions on time.
- Work under supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintain and update inventory recap report.
- Retrieve discontinued or expired medications; document appropriately.
- Maintain prescription logs.
- Assist with pharmacy temperature logs and maintenance documentation.
- Comply with safety, QA, regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all policies and standards.
