Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support formulary management, prior authorization, and Medicare/Part D operations from Yonkers, NY. You will collaborate with clinical pharmacists to ensure compliant and timely processing of requests.

The role requires at least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience, strong data entry, and knowledge of pharmacy benefits and PBM systems. This position offers a contract-to-hire path and remote-friendly work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Experience with formulary management, prior authorization, or claims processing.
• Strong data entry and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret pharmacy benefits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with PBM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process formulary change requests.
• Audit formulary status and contract compliance.
• Assist with prior authorization and appeals.
• Maintain and update databases.
• Respond to inquiries from pharmacies and providers.
• Educate members on benefits and options.
