Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to bridge service for PACE clients and network pharmacies. The role involves handling medications, data entry, and coordinating with providers to ensure accurate dispensing and smooth patient care.

Responsibilities include maintaining patient profiles, using proprietary software, and supporting quality initiatives. Requires state registration within 60 days, 2+ years of tech experience, and strong communication via phone.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or eligible to become registered with the State Board of Pharmacy within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2-year pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and strong computer proficiency to navigate proprietary and other software.
• Excellent communication skills, especially via phone.
• Able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacy tasks such as handling, counting, mixing, and packaging medications.
• Enter minor edits to dispensing records and NDCs.
• Use pharmacy software to check and record prescription data.
• Triages calls and messages to answer questions and process requests.
• Maintain patient profiles and document medication care plans.
