Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I for a fully remote role. You will serve as a liaison among patients, providers, and pharmacists, delivering exceptional service and phone etiquette in a private home-office setting.

The position reports to the Pharmacy Care Center and supports refill requests, triage, and coordination with care teams. The role requires at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, active licensure, and CPhT certification.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license in state of residence is required.
• CPhT certification is required; bilingual Spanish is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Field inbound calls for refills and renewal requests; track status.
• Contact patients to assist with refills via retail, mail-order, or other pharmacies.
• Make outbound calls to pharmacies on patients' behalf as needed.
• Handle 40-50 inbound and 60-80 outbound calls daily.
• Coordinate with care teams to remove barriers to refills.
• Use EMR to send requests and updates to field teams; document accurately.
