Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Pharmacy Support Associate for a remote role based in the United States (residents in Kentucky or Southern Indiana preferred). Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar.
• Three years of experience in a healthcare related call center or equivalent.
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration with the state board of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with physician offices both orally and in writing.
• Document clarification requests and follow-ups in Pathpoint Rx.
• Answer and resolve internal inquiries within set timeframes.
• Outbound calls to physician offices for refills or updates on clarifications.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of incoming prescription data.
• Comply with applicable policies, procedures and safety rules.
• Assist patients and Pharmacy Care Coordinators with drug therapy issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
