Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Patient Care Center of Excellence. In a remote-capable, office-based setting, you will interact with patients, doctors, and facilities by phone, ensuring accurate prescription processing and timely authorizations.

You will leverage pharmacy software, maintain patient records with confidentiality, and support onboarding of new patients while delivering exceptional service nationwide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified with PTCB or NHA and maintain current certificate.
• Must maintain pharmacy technician registration with State Board.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in a phone-based environment.
• Enter high volumes of data with speed and accuracy.
• Receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers using knowledge of medications.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties including prior authorizations and eligibility checks.
• Coordinate with clinicians and other staff to onboard new patients.
