Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a remote, temp-to-hire role focused on Medicare Part B prior authorizations and preferred product strategies. The position supports providers and members while working across multiple systems, including Google Workspace.

Requirements include a current PTCB certification and at least 3 years of pharmacy technician experience, plus familiarity with Medicare populations. This role offers remote work with benefits for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current PTCB certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience working with Medicare Part B operations, ideally in utilization management, prior authorizations, medical benefits, or pharmacy help desk.
• Familiarity with the Medicare population.
• Strong computer proficiency and comfort working across multiple systems including Google Workspace/G Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in utilization management and prior authorizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process prior authorization requests using established policies and decision trees.
• Triage and enter incoming prior authorization requests from provider offices.
• Provide support for Medicare Part B medication prior authorizations and preferred product strategies.
• Contact providers and hospitals to obtain necessary clinical documentation for authorization reviews.
• Communicate authorization decisions and follow up with providers and members as needed.
• Assist members and providers when alternative treatments are required.
• Offer operational support to Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacists, and Physicians to facilitate prompt and accurate decisions.
• Serve as a key contact for internal teams, external providers, and operational partners.
• Support offshore clinical partners involved in utilization management pharmacy workflows.
• Interpret plan benefits and enter specialty pharmacy overrides to ensure proper claim adjudication.
