Job summary

Bryan University invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician Instructor to support our online learning program. You will teach assigned courses, host weekly Zoom sessions, and guide students through quizzes, tests, and projects.

Candidates should have an associate degree in a health-related field, a current PTCB certification, and at least three years of pharmacy technician experience. Prior online teaching is a plus, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a health-related field preferred.
• PTCB Certification is required.
• 3+ years pharmacy technician experience (sterile compounding a plus).
• Previous online teaching experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs.

Responsibilities

• Instruct assigned courses within designated program.
• Host weekly live sessions via Zoom in each course.
• Maintain a flexible schedule that accommodates office hours and 1:1 meetings.
• Provide students with timely information and feedback on academic progress.
• Conduct outreach to increase engagement with at-risk students.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and submit final grades per policy.
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development.
• Remain current with developments within instructional responsibility.
