Bryan University is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Instructor to teach online, leveraging recent pharmacy technician experience. The role supports online learning and may require Zoom sessions and flexible scheduling.

Candidates with PTCB certification and an associate degree are preferred; teaching experience is welcome but not required. Strong communication and collaboration in a virtual environment are essential.

Competenze

• Associate degree in a health-related field preferred.
• PTCB Certification required.
• 3+ years pharmacy technician experience (sterile compounding a plus).
• Previous experience teaching online is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills in both an individual and group setting.
• Work effectively as a team member to ensure that departmental goals are met.
• Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs including MS Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, Zoom.

• Instruct assigned courses within designated program.
• Host weekly live sessions via Zoom in each course.
• Maintain a flexible schedule that accommodates office hours and 1:1 meetings to provide an excellent student experience.
• Provide students with timely information and feedback on their academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework, and projects.
• Conduct outreach to increase engagement with at-risk students.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance and submit final grades in accordance with university policy.
• Actively participate in meetings, training programs, and professional development as required.
• Remain current with developments within the area of instructional responsibility.
• Other duties as required by the faculty job description, SOPs, and other university policies
