Job summary

Geisinger Health is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician to support medication delivery and inventory management from a remote Pennsylvania location. The role focuses on basic patient/provider service through message retrieval and communication.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, labeling and preparing medications, and supporting inventory management while maintaining pharmacy records and participating in onboarding of new staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory guidelines preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a care team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/provider/customer care.
• Use the pharmacy computer system to support patient care.
• Participate in activities that support patient care not requiring a pharmacist’s expertise.
• Prepare and label medications for distribution.
