Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) required within 2 years.
• Registration as Pharmacy Technician Trainee/Technician/Intern with PA State Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/provider/customer care.
• Use the pharmacy computer system to facilitate patient care.
• Participate in patient/provider/customer care activities that do not require the pharmacist.
• Prepare and label medications for distribution.
• Retrieve, review, and manage inventory of medications and supplies.
• Maintain pharmacy records.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the pharmacy per policies.
• Participate in onboarding and training of new personnel.
