Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician for remote work in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on medication delivery and inventory management with basic patient/provider communication and message retrieval.

You will support patient care under supervision, prepare and label medications, and assist with onboarding new staff in a clinical, hospital environment. Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician within 2 years (PTCB or NHA) or eligible for certification.
• Experience with pharmacy computer systems and inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/provider/customer care.
• Use the pharmacy computer system to facilitate patient care.
• Prepare and label medications for distribution.
• Retrieve, review, and perform inventory management for medications and supplies.
• Maintain pharmacy records.
• Perform housekeeping duties in the pharmacy in compliance with policies.
• Assist in onboarding and training of new pharmacy personnel.
