Job summary

UW Medicine is seeking a Pharmacy Quality Assurance Coordinator (Pharmacist 4) to lead QA programs for sterile products across UW Medicine Pharmacies. The role coordinates microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and end-product testing, working with managers and staff to implement QA policies and ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate has three years of pharmacy practice and a ASHP-accredited residency or equivalent; strong collaboration skills and independent, organized work habits

Qualifications

• Three years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Experience leading quality assurance initiatives in a health-system.
• Knowledge of USP standards and sterile compounding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance programs for sterile products.
• Coordinate interpretation and reporting of microbiological and environmental test results.
• Collaborate with managers and staff to design QA policies and training.
• Advise leadership on quality matters related to sterile product preparation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and prepare management reports.
